“You’ll never walk alone!” (from Victor's weekly newsletter)
I relate well to the description below - and I have found that the Light IS the Preserver, Director, Producer and Comforter at the very core of our beings.
"Those who are highly motivated in the search for afterlife evidence, those who spend many solitary hours validating the paranormal and others on the spiritual path sometimes feel they are on their own.
Now might be a good time to remember that we are never alone. We are continually reassured in high level transmissions that we do attract intelligences in the afterlife dimension to help us in our daily work and to make the truth known to the world. It is only natural that those who try to continue to refine spiritually sometimes find themselves unable to participate in mainstream activities. The more spiritually advanced tend to avoid noise, commercialism, materialism, anything negative that could hurt the soul, time-wasting conversations and give priority to what is critical to them. Many who have had profound experiences of after death contacts, near death experiences, mediumship etc find that these experiences separate them from others and choose to keep a low profile feeling that it’s not their time or their role to go public. I have high profile scientists contacting me telling me they are one hundred per cent convinced they have had genuine and sometimes ongoing contact with a deceased loved one but saying they cannot discuss their experiences with their peers. Others, like me, have gone public, have stated our evidence, have revealed that we do contact afterlife intelligences and we have provided hard core evidence for our acceptance of the afterlife.
But all of us are never alone. We all get help. We can ask for and receive inspiration – and we can all rise above the storms and challenges of life and make a contribution for others to follow. Those of us who know about the afterlife are all standing on the shoulders of giants who were successful in establishing scientifically that we continue to survive after physical death. I quite accept that we never walk alone on this physical plane."
What follows is for mature and mentally stable adults.
If you become interested in EVP and ITC, please be aware that you should confer with those experienced in such techniques at the American and Australian EVP forums.
If you decide to try this on your own, be aware that conditions discussed inOperators and Things, by Barbara O'Brien, and in The Presence of Other Worlds, by Wilson Van Dusen, discuss situations that may be involved in receiving communications from the other side of the veil.
With this in mind, read on:
For those of you who may have an interest in The Afterlife and the Spirit World, I have a personal experience that is interesting.
This is rather detailed.
It will explain some extraordinary recent events that concern my good friend and webmaster Martin Simmonds (aka "Seth")
The first encounter:
I met Mr. Simmonds a dozen or so years back on the Dr. Courtney Brown's Farsight chat. As you may recall, Dr. Brown trained in remote viewing under Ed Dames, and later formed the Farsight Institute in Atlanta, GA for training others in the art which he called "Scientific Remote Viewing." Many people who were interested in remote viewing came to the website, all eager to discuss remote viewing. I was regularly there as "T" and met many people who also wanted to learn the technique.
In my book, MMM, you will read about how I met three individuals: Martin, Gail and Dee. It was during a chat session that an interloper chimed to explain a question that Martin (using the screen name "SETH") posed:
SETH: "If a bird was sitting on the limb of a tree, and decided to fly away, would the bird fly up, down, or horizontally off the limb?
Suddenly, "FOX" (Joni Dourif of Ed Dames' Psi Tech), who had been lurking, appeared on screen to explain that this was known as ARV (Alternative Remote Viewing), a way to play the stock market.
What serendipity!
This let to my cancelling a training slot with Dr. Courtney Brown (which was taken by my friend Dick Allgire of KITV4 News in Honolulu). As it was written, I soon found myself training with Major Ed Dames and later, Martin received similar training in Technical Remote Viewing.
For the next decade, Martin and I were in daily contact by Internet Messenger, email, phone and, on a few occasions, in person as he travelled to Hilo to visit.
On one of those trips, he decided to learn about the philosophy of Mokichi Okada. He received his o-hikari amulet which he wore on a neck chain from that day forth. He was interested in healing and helping others.
To mention part of a previous post, Martin agreed to be the webmaster for promotion of my book, Medicine, Miracles and Manifestations. In August 2009, we began working on the site, taking many weeks to tune it up properly. Now you see the result: a very professional Internet site.
As time progressed, on November 25th I received the previously-mentioned email from Mr. Rob Smith in Australia.
I was invited to join the Australasian forum on EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) and ITC (Instrumental Trans-Communication). Prior to this, I had little, if any, interest in EVP and knew little or nothing about it. Then things began to happen and, as a result, I am involved with the study of The Afterlife in a most interesting way, and it has become a part of my second book project on energy healing and consciousness.
I now post a December 31, 2008 IM chat to Martin in which I say:
"Get some sleep tonight man as tomorrow is your birthday and may this be the beginning of a peaceful series of years for you.
Trust me, it will get better! May I now explain why?
It has to do with EVP.
I am looking deeply into this for 2009 and the new book. Knowing your technical bent, what do you think?

This is how it began for me, the interest in the afterlife.
Around this time, Martin began to complain of increasing pain in his abdomen. At first, physicians in the U.K. diagnosed it as GERD and put him on proton-pump inhibitors which did not stop his pain. Although the diagnosis was correct (upper GI endoscopy revealed a hiatal hernia), it was not the cause of his pain.
The pain increased.
Unfortunately, in January, after further blood studies and an abdominal CT, the terrible diagnosis was delivered to Martin: colon cancer with metastasis to his liver.
Martin underwent surgery, a resection of the colon tumour, but developed increasing jaundice, ascites and severe pain. I travelled to London, hoping to help. Unfortunately again, his condition progressed rapidly. One day before he died, I asked him if in the future, he would maintain an interest in engaging in EVP research with me.
His reply: "Absolutely."
Then, unbeknownst to me at the time, he requested that his wife Svetlana give me his o-hikari amulet after his death. He asked her to keep the chain, but insisted that I be given the amulet.
Those of you who have read my blog posts on healing and/or my book, will remember this amulet as a locket that holds the Japanese kanji for light, "Hikari" and wearers of this amulet become linked to Mokichi Okada (1882 - 1955) whocurrently resides in the spiritual world. Through this, they channel the spiritual light that was given to Okadawhen he became enlightened.
At first, I was a bit perplexed by Martin's wish for me to have his amulet. The reason came to me later: Martin wanted this to act as a "homing signal" as he knew, and correctly so, that I would have it attached to my neck chain and it would be adjacent to my o-hikari amulet!
So here we go:
EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) are recording made with a device such as a tape recorder (explained in Dr. Raudive's tome Breakthrough, or in modern times, a recording is made using a digital IC recorder such as the Olympus DS-4000, the Sony SX models and many others. The integrated chip provides a bit of the random noise that is needed as a carrier for such "voice transmissions" that are felt to come from beyond the veil. Other sources of "white noise" can be helpful, the best of which may be that generated by a waterfall.
Before I could give EVP a try, at the Australian and American EVP forums, I came across another method called Radio Sweep. This interested me. I was put in contact with Ingrid, Jeff and Rob who had extensive experience with this technique.
Steve Hultay, president of Keyport Paranormal, wrote on his website about the "Radio Shack" hack. Jeff (Australasian forum) provided the links. This is a simple method of clipping a wire leading to the circuit board of an inexpensive armband AM/FM radio. This makes the device rapidly scan the broadcast frequencies at a rate that is too fast to really catch words or phrases. This technique, it is thought, allows "voices" to come through from the "other side."
I asked a question:
"Hey Martin, is that you?"
This was the question and the almost immediate response followed on Gold Wave, a program for audio analysis.
This is unaltered (not filtered or changed in any way):
There was a definite and clear "Hello!" as a response to this query.
Now I now Martin's voice very well, as does my wife. In addition, I asked three others: Dee, and Martin's wife Svetlana and Gail.
Comments on "Hello"
Jack - I heard Martin say, "hello" around the 28 second mark. Definitely Martin. Dee
Hi Jack,
It is very amazing... It is really sound like Martin (where he said Hello)! It is weird!
Best wishes, Svetlana.
Dear Jack,
I listened to it twice. I don't know anything about gold wave theory/technique, just what you'd mentioned in a previous email, so I'd no expectations. I've not used the links to find out more so as not to influence my response to the recording.
The first pass through I was startled and shocked to hear Martin's voice and intonation exactly as I knew it say, "Hello." On the second pass I listened quite carefully and believe that the "Hello" was the only instance during the recording where I heard his voice clearly sounding like him. I didn't expect it, so was quite shocked to hear him. Amazing.
Gail

Jack recently was a Guest on Coast to Coast with George Noory promoting his terrific new book, "Medicine, Miracles and Manifestations" which can be accessed athttp://www.coasttocoastam.com/ and below is a question received from one of the many listeners.
"I enjoyed your Coast 2 Coast appearance. As an Ohio resident, (Union, Ohio, north of Dayton) it felt enriching to listen to someone from a similar background.
Moving forward, George Norry and countless others discuss the notion that using a Ouija board to ask questions and receive answers from a paranormal source is a dangerous practice. The apparent thinking is that you don't know who's on the other side talking to you.
How is EVP different? I've read and studied Malachi Martin and Jacques Vallee and have come to the conclusion that there are numerous entities "out there" who would love to lead us into error and to believe a grand lie for their own nefarious purpose. I ask this, understanding that the question itself may sound paranoid, but please understand it as being asked by one who is simply cautious.
What is your opinion?"
----------------------------
Jack responded:
From one Ohio Jack to another, I will say that you are on point with your concern about not-so-pleasant things out there.
In fact, I begin a blog with a CAUTION! for those who may attempt to dig into EVP/ITC for the very reasons that you state. It is not paranoia at all, although some who are not informed may think so. I heard a Dreamland Jim Mars and Bill Sweet interview where the subject of paranoia came up and Jim said, "Just because one is paranoid, it doesn't mean that someone is not out to get you!"
I mention those two books which discuss the psychiatric aspect of "hearing voices" and schizophrenia as EVP is in a fashion as of yet unknown to me, with EVP recording.
The man from the Australasian EVP forum Rob Smith, provided the EVP clilp "Survival" which is discussed in the special features section of the movie White Noise 1. It was a question during EVP recording put to a relative, "What is it like where you are?" or a question to that effect.
Many ways to think about this. Does it mean there is survival after death? Or, does it mean a battle with the negative entities?
I would be interested in Rob's answer Jack.
Quoting from the book EVP and New Dimensions, by Alexander MacRae, page 12:
"It would be advisable for anyone taking up EVP research on a professional or group basis to ensure that at least one of these involved has read Dr. Van Dusen's book. This is a real scientist, with real experience, and he has things to say that are very relevant to our work. We don't have to agree with him, but it would be most unwise to ignore what he has to say."
I see the books on my shelf now. I plan to read them as the next step.
Jack, if you have an interest in EVP, you can join the forum. You can meet people like Rob, Ingrid and others who are experienced with EVP and can offer great guidance.
Many of the discarnates that I have recorded seem to consist within the same broad range of personalities and positive/negative types that we experience in our day-to-day physical lives.
People who are diagnosed schizophrenic and with bi-polar disorders should steer clear of recording ‘disembodied voices’ which may only compound their psychological state. The question for me is how does one attempt to diagnose where schizophrenia ends and clairaudience begins - and what amount of overlap could exist? How many people are – or have been - diagnosed incorrectly due to our limited understanding of the impact of multidimensional interfacing.
Paranoia can go hand-in-hand with recording EVPs as there appears to be no rational basis or yardstick to determine the source and malevolence/ benevolence of the invisible communicators. No police checks – no security clearance – no personal insight into their background are available and it seems to be open slather in the invisible zone.
If one fears people in the here-and-now and jumps to conclusions without supportive evidence (often projected from their own insecurities) –I would not recommend EVP/ITC research.
People with a healthy openness to new possibilities, a strong sense of self, who are not easily swayed by the attitudes and behaviors’ of others and who can survive without clear rationalizations at the edges of their comfortable cognizant zones - should be encouraged to help push back the boundaries of interdimensional exploration.
Hope this goes a little way to answering your concerns.
